- Season the salmon fillets on both sides with salt and pepper.
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Place the salmon flesh-side down and sear for 4-5 minutes until a golden crust forms.
- Flip the salmon and cook for another 3-4 minutes until cooked through. Remove the salmon to a plate.
- In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium-low. Add the butter and minced garlic, sautéing for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Pour in the chicken broth to deglaze the pan, scraping up any browned bits.
- Stir in the heavy cream and let it simmer gently for 2-3 minutes until the sauce slightly thickens.
- Remove the skillet from the heat. Whisk in the fresh lemon juice and chopped dill.
- Return the salmon to the pan, spoon the creamy lemon dill sauce over the top, and serve immediately!
